…languages, that is.  In North Dakoka, the Sioux are using the game to teach younger generations their dying language. 

The game is part of the tribe's campaign to revitalize the Dakota language, now spoken fluently by a dwindling number of elders. One survey predicted the last fluent Sisseton-Wahpeton Dakota speaker would die in 2025.

A tournament pits teams from both Dakotas and Manitoba against each other.

I'd say the Dakota are on the right track…Scrabble is pretty much awesome.  And the idea is really innovative, if you think about it.
